Doug Eberhardt is a printmaker, illustrator, and educator living with his partner Lauren Lowery in Aliquippa Pennsylvania. He received his BFA from Edinboro University, and his MFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Since graduating he has worked with New Academy Press, Sapling Press, and The Wassaic Project to create a variety of prints and artist editions. He currently teaches Screen Printing at Edinboro University.

His solo show at PULLPROOF will feature silkscreen prints that combine traditional naturalist illustration with mysterious and ambiguous shapes and colors. They are meant to show the duality between the known and unknown. They explore the unseens possibilities of death and an afterlife. Their imagery uses vague occult themes but is meant to be mysterious and ambiguous.

Doug Eberhardt's work will also be on display Distant Futures/ Tap Shorts/ Lem/ baseball dad @Pullproof Studio, an acoustic show at PULLPROOF on May 10!

Pullproof Studio is an in-progress printmaking studio in Pittsburgh, PA. We intend to offer a fully equipped silkscreen printing facility with a shared workspace and small storefront gallery at 5112 Penn Avenue in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide affordable access to silkscreen printing equipment, space, and a community to artists in the Western Pennsylvania area.
