This month girlFx welcomes the one and only Christina Lee! On behalf of Pullproof Studio, Anna Shepperson will be selling prints and zines by their screenprinting studio.

As always, delightful food and drink specials from Whitfield will be on hand until 1am.

Christina Lee is an illustrator, zinemaker, printmaker, animator, and designer from San Jose, CA currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Fine Arts program, and has also studied Illustration at University Arts London, Camberwell in London and Graphic Design at the School of Visual Art in New York City. Her illustration clients include various publications, clothing stores, ad agencies, greeting card companies, and restaurants. When she's not drawing, she's a Designer at ShowClix, Communications Director at PULLPROOF, and Organizer at the Pittsburgh Zine Fair. An avid music lover, she is a member of WRCT 88.3FM and hosted "Bring Your Little Sister", an hour-long radio show that featured her favorite shoegaze and bedroom pop musicians.

Pullproof Studio is an in-progress printmaking studio in Pittsburgh, PA. We intend to offer a fully equipped silkscreen printing facility with a shared workspace and small storefront gallery at 5112 Penn Avenue in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide affordable access to silkscreen printing equipment, space, and a community to artists in the Western Pennsylvania area. girlFx (pronounced "girlfriend") is a collective of women and non-binary individuals who stand for ownership and representation in the nightlife community.

We host a resident party at Hot Mass every 5th Saturday, Ace Hotel Pittsburgh’s monthly “In The Weeds”, and “Tea Time” a sober after-hours during the cold months at Dobra Tea (Pittsburgh, PA). We welcome people of all identities.
