Period Bomb (Miami/Baltimore), led by Cam Alvarez, is a magnificently explosive multimedia project AND a band. They are full-spectrum punks, every bit as no-wave as they are hardcore or art-punk or lofi. The creative outpour from Period Bomb is fiercely unwavering - from audio recordings, spectacular events, videos or live performance, to critique of an authoritarian culture demanding control of our minds and bodies. But PB (along with the many incredible bands on the roster of Crass Lips Records - a label/distro run by members Period Bomb) do not relinquish such control easily. They will simply pummel you with a disorienting sound that will excite noise-heads and blessed mutants alike.
