Performances/Installations by:

// Hunsinger/Endahl Duo //

New music out of Nashville, Tennessee including contemporary compositions and improvisations with creative code and responsive multimedia.

Robbie Lynn is known for her participatory installations and multimedia oboe recitals using hacked game controllers, creative code and robotics. She has played the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Chicago World Music Festival and the FMP Festival and has performed with Evan Parker, Pauline Oliveros, Ken Vandermark and Myra Melford. She studied composition with Roscoe Mitchell at the Atlantic Center for the Arts and lead a trio project with Joseph Jarman and Tatsu Aoki.

Matt is one of the most sought after jazz pianists in Nashville. He was a Bósendorfer Montreux Jazz Piano Competition semi-finalist and has played the Detroit Jazz Festival and Edgefest.

These two have a deep chemistry and bring complex structures to their harmonic, rhythmic and melodic progressions.

Matt and Robbie Lynn began working together in 2018 and have developed a deeply intuitive and broad repertoire. They bring a chamber music esthetic and avant-garde edge to their music, performing structured and unstructured improvisations. Both players use electronics to mix with acoustic sound and Robbie Lynn is now adding her responsive multimedia codeart projections to the mix.
