August 6th we bring you Hot Mass. Hot Mass is a late night electronic music dance party, and club collective, held weekly since December 2012. Booking talent from around the world and growing talent at home, the Hot Mass builds upon Pittsburgh's LGBT, disco, and electronic music subcultures of the 70s/80s/90s and early aughts. Critics have noted the experience and quality of music at Hot Mass is difficult to find elsewhere in the United States, comparing it favorably to European nightclubs and parties!

Hot Mass delivers a triple whammy featuring 3 generations of DJs who are pushing club music forward.

TITONTON DUVANTE has been a cult favorite for over two decades, delivering house music that you never get tired of hearing. The Ohio-based artists’ tight mixing skills, on point selections, and superb vinyl scratching make for dance floor adventures that always get people deep into the groove. He has toured the world playing from Dweller Festival New York and Smart Bar Chicago, to the UK, Tokyo, Moscow, and beyond. There is no doubt that Titonton is a master of his art.

BOO LEAN (Lauren Goshinski) is a secret weapon on stage and behind the scenes. Her sets meld UK bass, techno, jungle, breaks and recently unearthed gems into something altogether new to raise your heart rate and tingle your brain. A resident DJ and promoter at Hot Mass, she has been an audio-visual curator for the past decade, directing the 2019 New Forms Festival in Canada, to running the VIA Festival in Pittsburgh (2010-2018). Supporting hundreds of artists from home and around the world, she’s the curator of tonight’s lineup.

DISCOGUNDAM (Joshua Niko Orange) is a Detroit-born/Pittsburgh-based multimedia artist and legislative policy analyst. As a DJ, their sets span a range of genres that foster a sense of warm waves/sonic intimacy. From radiant soul handed down from their mother, to Detroit techno and hip-hop, remixes and crate digger selections, DiscoGundam sets make space for catharsis, movement, exploration, discovery, freedom, liberation, growth, and celebration.
