Live Skull:

The reanimated Live Skull announces
the release of 'Dangerous Visions'
on Bronson Recordings. Hot on the heels of their acclaimed 2019 LP 'Saturday Night Massacre', Live Skull forges
ahead with their new lineup and ever evolving sound, while aiming to make peace with their past.

Dangerous Visions not only offers up
fierce new studio and live tracks, but also officially releases the legendary 1989 John Peel sessions. As a shout out to the
golden period of noise guitar exploration it includes a new version of 'Debbie’s Headache', and debuts their newest member Dave Hollinghurst.

Spawned in the vibrant East Village of New York in 1983, alongside contemporaries Sonic Youth, Swans,
Glenn Branca and The Beastie Boys, Live Skull helped spearhead the exotic
noise rock revolution.

In New Look Magazine, Robert Palmer noted early on: “Live Skull’s music is sinister in atmosphere, brutal in execution... The most startlingly original array of guitar sounds and approaches since Jimi Hendrix." He later added in the New York Times: "Live Skull's music is as challenging, as spiritually corrosive, and ultimately as transcendent as Albert Ayler's mid-60's free jazz or the implacable drone of the early Velvet Underground. It's one of the essential sounds of our time."

Live Skull went on to release eight groundbreaking records and toured the US & Europe extensively. In 1989, Simon Reynolds (Melody Maker) reviewed
their live show in London: “At their peak they are making the most forbidding rock since the early Banshees or Joy Division. And Edwin Pouncey at NME exclaimed: “ 'Positraction’ drills deeper than anything before, a record where pleasure and pain become inextricably entwined. Live Skull manage to hurt so good.”

Thalia Zedek Band:

Thalia Zedek is an artist of immutable stature and unceasing vitality. The legendary songwriter’s fiery voice and frank lyricism give her songs both their emotional potency and their stark beauty. New album 'Perfect Vision' examines the anxiety and pain of rising divisions between people both physical and ideological. On Perfect Vision, Zedek transmutes fervor and resilience into sobering laments, while her lush arrangements wrap the listener in an often complex emotional message.

'Perfect Vision' follows Thalia Zedek Band’s 2018 album 'Fighting Season', created in the midst of growing tensions across the U.S. 'Perfect Vision' is an album fully willing to see, acknowledge and address the insidious forces of the modern world. Zedek brings considerable skills as a musician and as a groundbreaking advocate for both women in music and LGBTQ+ rights to face emotional and political obstacles with unblinking, steadfast determination. The sharp and diverse songs across Perfect Vision stand as profoundly reflective, moving anthems to purging malevolence.
